Sprouted on the homelands
of the Chumash and Tongva peoples in
Ventura county, California.
Now, growing on the lands of the Arapaho, Cheyenne and Ute people in Boulder, Colorado.

more of my storyLeaning into pleasure activism, a term coined by adrienne maree brown, I've followed my joy of making music. I am called to commune with and protect the natural world, floating in the waters Earth lovingly offers. In response to the urgency of climate chaos, I'm uplifted by the idea that music is a catalyst for the systemic transformation we need to heal.

"We rise up, onto the streets
showing up to stand in solidarity
for we are all connected,
like the forest to the sea"
-"rise up" by rach

Our world is on fire. We urgently need action. In 2021, with the youth-lead organization,The Sunrise Movement, I journeyed to "so-called" Washington DC, on the ancestral and traditional homelands of the Nacotchtank (Anacostan) and Piscataway peoples. We marched, sang, and chanted, surrounding the White House with over 500 activists,
demanding a Green New Deal.I met Indigenous Water-Protectors taking non-violent direct action to defend Earth from devastating tar-sands oil pipeline expansions. After hearing elders share their message of walking with peace, the drumming, singing, and dancing continued.
Later that summer in 2021, I spent ten days on the frontlines of Pipeline 3 resistance efforts in Minnesota, on the homelands of the Anishinaabe, Lakota and Dakota peoples.I joined the “Treaty People Walk for Water” on a final 50 mile stretch of marching towards the State Capitol

With my familial lineage including Native Hawaiian, I've been connected to my ancestral tool, the ukulele since I was 15 years old. Here's a video from 2021 where I played an original song, "rise up" at the LA Eco-Villiage, on unceded Tongva land.
In June of 2025, I released the single, "creekbed". My full album, "urgently slow", is set to release this November.
